Inside the House of Love, there is a fire burning creating warmth, casting a warm amber glow across the room, and the deep crimson colors feel richer especially tonight, as if the room itself is holding something sacred… something tender.

You walk in a little hesitant, unsure of what to expect. You already know you are welcome, but you are also very aware of what you have been carrying and what your baggage holds inside. What you have been carrying feels so heavy, not only in weight but in your heart. That’s because your baggage is filled with shame, guilt, bad choices, fear, labels, things people have said about you, the armor you have worn to protect yourself, your mistakes, your regrets, the should haves and could haves, the things you wish were different, and even dreams that feel like they have been lost… and you have been carrying all of this for a very long time.

As you step further into the room, Love Himself sees you. He sees not only where you are, but everything you have been carrying and everything you have been through. He does not rush you or overwhelm you, and He does not ask you to explain anything. He simply comes near and sits beside you, close enough for you to feel His presence, close where you feel not only comfortable but comforted, seen, safe, and secure. For a moment, He just stays with you… heart to heart… until even the quiet begins to feel peaceful.

As you sit there with Him, something begins to rise inside your heart. It is honest and real, not polished or perfect. You can feel that He sees you, but He is not looking at what you thought He would focus on. He is not focused on your baggage or your mistakes or the things you thought would matter most. When Love Himself looks at you, it feels like all He sees is you… fully seen, fully known, and still fully loved… and that feels unfamiliar, almost too good to be true, and yet something deep inside you knows that it is real.

A question begins to rise within you, and you quietly speak to Him, “Father of Love… what am I supposed to do with all of this… Jesus… is this always going to define me… how I see myself… how others see me… or how You…” Before you can finish your question, He gently lifts His hand. He is not stopping you, but lovingly holding your question with you. Then Love Himself begins to respond, not by correcting you, but by speaking in a way your heart can understand.

“Let Me tell you a true story about someone,” He says gently.

As He begins to speak, you listen closely, and it becomes clear that He is sharing this story to help your heart understand something deeper.

“There was a woman, and many had already decided who she was. They gave her a name, a label, and a place to stand, and it was not a place of honor. They saw her through what she had done, what she had been through, and what had been done to her, and they believed that was all she would ever be.”

As Love Himself speaks, you begin to feel something stir inside your heart. You recognize that feeling. You remember words that may have been spoken over you, like “You are the black sheep of the family,” or even “You are no longer a part of this family.” As those memories surface, you begin to realize that this story is not distant from you… it feels personal… and you begin to see how it connects to your own story.

Then Love Himself continues, “But I saw her. I saw Mary… Mary Magdalene. I saw beyond every label, every wound, and every place she had been bound. I saw her heart, and I came for her.”

As you hear this, a quiet realization forms within you. You begin to understand that He is not only talking about Mary… He is showing you how He sees you.

Love Himself continues, “When I met her, I was not focused on her mistakes. I was moved by love for her. I did not treat her according to what she had done, but according to who she truly was to Me. I loved her before anything changed, and it was My love that began to change everything.”

As He speaks, you begin to recognize what is happening in this very moment. He is not focusing on everything you thought He would. He is not bringing up your failures. He is simply loving you, and that realization begins to soften your heart.

Then He gently brings you deeper into the story, “She stayed near Me, she listened, she learned My heart, she loved, and she worshiped. And then she saw something she would never forget… she saw Me on the cross.”

As He says this, everything inside you becomes still.

“And everything she had ever carried, everything that had ever tried to define her, everything in her baggage… she saw that I was carrying it for her.”

As you hear this, you begin to picture it clearly. You begin to understand that she saw Him carrying everything she thought defined her, and in that moment, she realized it was no longer hers to carry.

Love Himself continues, “She saw that I did not just love her in words. I took it all upon Myself. She saw that I finished it, and she saw that I forgave it completely… once and for all.”

As these words settle into your heart, you begin to understand something deeply. It was not only that He loved her when He met her… it was that He finished everything for her on the cross… all of it… forever.

Then Love Himself gently brings the meaning of the story to you so that your heart can fully understand.

“This is what the story means for you. What you have been carrying, I have already carried. What you have been holding onto, I have already finished. What you have been wondering if I would forgive, I already forgave completely… once and for all. What was true for her is just as true for you, and for every heart that comes to Me carrying their baggage into the House of Love… the home of My heart.”

As He speaks, you begin to understand why He told you this story. He is helping your heart see that what was true for Mary is true for you right now.

And now something shifts deeply inside of you. You begin to realize that you thought He would focus on your baggage because that is what others had done. They did not truly see you, hear you, or know you. They saw you through their opinions, assumptions, and judgments, and over time you began to believe those voices. You began to see yourself through that same lens, and your own thoughts shaped how you expected to be seen… even by Him. Now you see it clearly. You had unknowingly agreed with those beliefs, and that agreement became part of your pain.

As this realization settles in your heart, you begin to see that you were wrong about how He sees you. You were wrong about what He would focus on, and you were wrong about how He would respond to you. Instead of shame, your heart begins to fill with gratitude… deep, overwhelming gratitude that you were wrong… and that He is more loving, more kind, and more accepting than you ever imagined.

As this truth takes root, Love Himself remains beside you, steady and present. Without force, His love begins to move. It reaches toward everything you have been carrying, and your baggage begins to lift, not because you tried harder, but because you now see clearly. The weight begins to release, the lies lose their hold, and the labels fall away, and you are no longer holding onto what you were never meant to carry.

As this happens, your heart opens, and space is made within you. His love begins to fill every place that once held pain in a way that feels gentle, steady, and complete, like a deep restoration taking place within you. What once felt heavy now feels light, what once felt loud now feels peaceful, and what once felt confusing now feels clear.

Then Love Himself speaks again, and His words are steady and full of truth.

“You are not what you carried. You are not what was spoken over you. You are not what others called you… you are Mine.”

As those words settle into your heart, you look at Him, and this time there is no hesitation, no questioning, no pulling back. Something in you has shifted, and you respond to Him from that place of knowing.

“Father of Love… Jesus… I receive this. I receive Your love. I receive what You have done for me. I receive how You see me, and I choose to agree with You.”

Your voice steadies as your heart opens even more.

“I am not what I carried. I am not what was spoken over me. I am Yours… I am Your Child of Love.”

As you speak those words, you feel them take root within you. They are no longer just something you hope is true… they are something you know is true.

Tears rise, not from pain, but from being seen, known, and loved in a way that is real and unchanging, and you continue softly,

“Thank You for loving me like this. Thank You for giving me more than I ever expected. Thank You for showing me what real love is… not based on what I’ve done… but based on who You are.”

And as you sit there with Him, something becomes settled deep within you. You are no longer questioning where you stand. You are no longer wondering how He sees you. You are no longer carrying what He has already finished. You are receiving His love, and it is changing you from the inside out.

Love Himself remains beside you, steady and full of quiet joy, as if this moment is exactly what His heart has always desired… not just to tell you the truth, but for you to receive it, believe it, and live from it.

And as this moment settles, you begin to realize something gently but clearly. What you have just experienced here in the House of Love… this heart to heart moment… is not meant to stay as only a story. It is meant to be stepped into… experienced… received.

So now… this turns toward you.

If you have ever felt like the black sheep… if you have ever felt pushed out, overlooked, or unloved… this same love is reaching for you right now.

“Come… come into the House of Love, the Home of My heart, and bring your baggage, bring every piece of it. You will not be rejected here. You will be seen, known, and loved. What I have done… I have done for you too. I am inviting you, I am welcoming you, and I am receiving you… you are My Child of Love.”

You are not standing outside looking in… you are being invited in… into the same place… into the same love… into this same truth ~  my LOVING TRUTH.

You were never outside.

You have always been invited.

You belong here.
