Today, March 4th, 2019 would have been my daddy’s 74th birthday. I am releasing my new Godsong, “RECEIVE MY LOVE”  as a special gift to you today in honor & special remembrance of my daddy.  It is my heart’s joy to also share the precious Godstory behind “RECEIVE MY LOVE” with all of you.

DaddyGod downloaded this beautiful love gift ~ “RECEIVE MY LOVE” ~ into my heart as I was playing the piano on the evening of March 14, 2017.  This day was significant to receive this love gift for a very special reason.   It was 2 months and 1 day after my daddy went to be with his Abba ~ his AbbaShai (the gift & present of His Heavenly Daddy).  I had been reflecting upon what an amazing GIFT GIVER my daddy was to me, as well as his most special way he created for us to RECEIVE his love gifts & special SURPRISES!

My daddy was the BEST GIFT GIVER ! He absolutely LOVED giving GIFTS! He had so much fun surprising me with them!  While he so enjoyed giving gifts for every special occasion, it didn’t have to be a special occasion. Anytime something very special caught his eye & made him think especially of me, he just loved getting it for me “just because” he loved me!  He knew what I loved! So, he knew I would love his gift(s)!!!

Giving GOOD GIFTS was his LOVE LANGUAGE. He spoke his Love Language very well! ♥ It was one of his most favorite ways of expressing his love to me. Throughout the 46 years of my life, I was blessed to RECEIVE MY DADDY’S LOVE through so many special gifts he gave to me. Everywhere I look I see these visual reminders of his love in my home which bring my heart such warm smiles to comfort my heart.  These very special gifts of remembrance are priceless treasures to my heart! They especially have held his love so close to my heart since he went to be with Jesus, his AbbaShai on January 13, 2017 ~ a little over 2 years ago.

My daddy was all about presentation when it came to gift giving! From the gorgeous wrapping paper to the lovely bow & beautiful card, he would go all out decorating the gift as creatively as possible. He poured his heart into making it just as special on the outside as the surprise gift on the inside! He would be so full of smiles & glee like a little child to give me the special gift!  He was so eager & full of bliss to give it to me that he couldn’t wait to surprise me with his special gift! He put so much thought, detail,  attention and effort into hand-selecting or hand-crafting every gift he ever made for me or gave to me.  His love gifts always appealed to my senses and my sense of style, personality and colorful heart!  I knew when it was time to receive his love ~ his gift(s)~that it was the beautiful evidence, visual reminder & expression of his great love for me.

When Daddy was ready to present the gift to me, with extreme joy and delight he would excitedly say…”Close your eyes. Hold out your hands. When you open your eyes your gonna get a BIG SURPRISE!” In my anxious anticipation & expectation, I would excitingly close my eyes and hold out my hands with my heart open wide to RECEIVE his love gift!   As soon as I  would feel his surprise gift in my hands, he would giggle as he exclaimed, “Now open your eyes!” Every single time, my eyes opened up to SEE my Daddy’s surprise ~ his love gift(s)~my heart would be so full of JOYFUL BLISS to discover & RECEIVE the most beautiful and best gift ~ SURPRISE ~  he had hand selected just for me!  My daddy taught me through all of his outward expressions of love & affection ~ how deeply he loved me inwardly!  It is my joy to continue my daddy’s sweet & special tradition of giving good gifts to those I want to express my love to by saying, “Close your eyes.  Hold out your hands.  When you open your eyes ~ you’re gonna get a BIG SURPRISE! Now open your eyes & RECEIVE!!”

Vicki Reece says, “A daddy will always be a daughter’s first love!”  Truly, it was through first receiving my daddy’s love which he so beautifully expressed through giving me such good gifts that truly opened my heart wide to believe and receive that my Heavenly Father is the Best Giver of Good Gifts, too!  One of my favorite parts of God’s heart is his desire to give us His amazing, good & perfect gifts of love.

James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,

coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

Every good gift you receive is because God loves you.  His love gifts to your heart are His outward expression of His deep internal love for you! His love for you is so great that He looks for every opportunity to give you a gift ~ a SURPRISE~ to express His great love to you. He desperately wants you to know that you are loved and valued by him. You are worth every moment He spent creating, designing, preparing His special gifts He hand-crafted just for you!  He so deeply wants you to know that he is not distant from you but, rather, is working in your midst to lead you to the gifts of His abundant joy, peace, life, light & most especially His Love ~ the Best Gift of them all!  #DaddyGodisLove #JesusIsLove

It was so easy for me to believe & receive through my earthly Daddy’s good gifts, that my DaddyGod, my Abba ~my Perfect Father ~ is the Best Giver of Good Gifts ! I love how God has chosen to be known to you & me as a Father!  I love that He chose to reveal Himself as our Heavenly Daddy, our DaddyGod.  How very personal & sweetly interactive & expressive His Love is !  He loves for us to call Him, Abba which is a very sweet & special name we as His children ~His daughters & sons ~  get to call our Heavenly Father to express intimacy & respect.  Calling Him Abba is much like calling Him “Daddy” which is why I also call Him my DaddyGod!   What a GIFT my ABBA is to my heart!

Matthew 7:11 says, “If you  know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Perfect Father who is in heaven give good things & great gifts to His children.

It was through my precious experience of receiving my earthly Daddy’s GOOD GIFTS & fun surprises that I was more tangibly able to understand the love of God & His joy of giving Good Gifts & fun surprises to me!  I learned that my Heavenly Daddy’s heart is fully of extreme joy and bliss to bless me with His best gifts just like my earthly daddy so very much enjoyed doing.  I realize that if my own earthly daddy loved to express his deep love for me through giving me such good gifts & surprises…how much more does my Heavenly Daddy, my DaddyGod ~ love me more deeply and powerfully than even my own earthly daddy was ever able to express his love to me .  While my daddy always outdid himself with such amazingly wonderful gifts, my DaddyGod’s manifest & life-giving Presence ~ “PRESENTS” ~  have far outdone any example or good gift any of our earthly daddy’s could ever give us.  Yet, I know full well that if my earthly daddy could have given me all the treasures in the world, he would have!  That was so his heart to express his deep love through giving good gifts & surprises!  What deep gratitude my heart has knowing & believing through the RECEIVING OF LOVE ~ that both my earthly Daddy & my Abba, my DaddyGod love me!

Galatians 4:5-7 tells us that through DaddyGod’s LOVE GIFTS Jesus gave to us through His Finished Work, we are redeemed! That’s SOZO GOOD NEWS!! Through Jesus Finished Work ~ the Cross, burial & His Resurrection  ~ we have been given the most precious gifts! We are saved, healed, delivered, blessed, protected, prosperous & set apart!   It was DaddyGod’s Gift of Love through Jesus Finished Work that we would receive the gift of our freedom and full legal adoption as His children ~ His Sons & Daughters.  Ultimately, as Verse 6 & 7 says, DaddyGod wanted to adopt us as His very own Sons & Daughters!   “ And so that we would know for sure that we are his true children, (apart of DaddyGod’s family), God released the Spirit of Sonship ~ the Spirit of His Son ~  into our hearts—moving us to cry out intimately,  “Abba, Father! ~ My Father^…You’re our true Father!”Now, we no longer have to live as a slave because we are a child of DaddyGod!”  This means we are able to enjoy being God’s very own sons & daughters! And because we’re His child, DaddyGod guarantees us the gift of our inheritance He so anxiously is anticipating for us to receive!  The LOVE Gift of our inheritance as His children ~ His daughters & sons ~ is DaddyGod’s gift to us which gives us full access to RECEIVE everything our Father has—for we are heirs of God through Jesus, the Messiah!  “Close your eyes.  Hold out your hands.  Your daddy’s got a BIG SURPRISE.  Now open your eyes & RECEIVE!  Receive the Love Gift of your beautiful inheritance as your DaddyGod’s daughter & son, His child!

Another one of my Godsongs is called “AbbaShai”.  My daddy never had the privilege to know his biological father or receive anything from his earthly father.   He wanted to be to me / us  the daddy he never had!  He deeply desired to give to us the good gifts he wished he would have been able to receive from his earthly dad including a daddy’s affection, time, attention, protection, provision and good gifts, etc.  I would invite you to listen / read my Godstory (or listen to the mp3 interview of me sharing my Godstory behind ABBASHAI) for the precious meaning behind AbbaShai.  The hebrew word “ABBA” means Father (Daddy).  The hebrew word “SHAI” means the “gift or present”. So during a special intercession time between my daddy & I just 3 days before he passed away ~ he kept spontaneously saying ABBASHAI in between his heavenly language while praying outloud.  He had never said AbbaShai before nor did he know what it meant when I asked him later.  When I searched & discovered the Hebrew meaning behind ABBASHAI, I realized that in those moments of intercession as I was singing & praying over my daddy, he was really calling on ABBA in those desperate moments to be for him the “Gift or present of a Daddy”.   The name Abishai (different spelling) further means “My Father is…”  In this case, ABBASHAI meaning “My Father is AbbaShai ~ my gift & present of a Daddy!
