Worship is Love responding to Love… it is the gentle exchange between your heart and His, the place where being with Him becomes the expression itself, where something inside you begins to respond simply because you are with Love Himself.

There is a House of Love within your heart… the home of His heart inside of you. It is where Love Himself lives, where He dwells, where His presence fills the space within you with warmth, peace, and belonging. And you live there too… not as a visitor, but as one who already belongs. The House of Love and your heart are not separate places… they are one living, breathing place within you.

Within this House of Love, there are moments when you become aware of Him in a deeper way, moments when you can feel that He sees you and understands what is going on inside your heart. He knows what you have been carrying, what has been making you feel heavy, what has been on your mind, and He knows your heart and your desire to be with Him, heart to heart.

And in those moments, you begin to hear Him calling to you, “Come up here…” His voice moves through the House of Love within you, and something in your heart recognizes it and gently follows. As your attention turns toward Him, you begin to notice a staircase softly lit within, with Lanterns of Love lining each step of the staircase, glowing with a gentle, living Holy flame of Love. That light is His Presence, shining the way for you.

On that staircase, Love Himself is already there, having come near to you. His eyes meet yours with kindness and love, as if He is so glad to see you… as if this moment matters deeply to Him. And again, you hear Him say, “Come up here…” There is something in His voice that feels like a warm embrace around your heart, something that draws you closer. As you respond, something inside you begins to awaken, like a gentle flame in your heart being softly lit by His Presence.

You begin to walk with Him, step by step, and He is with you right there, the lanterns of Love lighting the way, His Presence surrounding you. With each step, your heart begins to soften and settle, and your awareness rests more fully on Him… until everything else fades and all you feel is His nearness… and your heart responding.

As you walk with Him, you enter the UpperRoom of your heart… a sacred and holy place within you. This UpperRoom is where your heart meets Heart2Heart with your Abba, your DaddyGod… where you are held, where you are known, where you are loved without condition… where you can rest, and where He stays with you as you heal, as you mend, and as you come closer and deeper into His heart.

Everything you experience here… the warmth, the peace, the comfort… it all comes from Love Himself. He is the warmth that surrounds you, the peace that settles within you, and the comfort that gently holds every place in you that has been hurting.

And here… something begins to shift in the way you understand worship.

You begin to realize that what is happening between you and Him right now… this quiet, sacred, heart2heart exchange… this is worship.

Not something created from the outside… not something dependent on what is happening around you… but something alive within you. Because worship does not need external influence to become real… it is already living inside of you, waiting for your heart to respond to His.

Here in the UpperRoom of your heart, you meet Love Himself face2face… heart2heart… soul2soul… spirit2spirit… and what happens between you and Him here… this is what matters most.

Because Love Himself always works from the inside out. And what is formed in this sacred place within you… is what you carry with you into the world.

Worship begins to feel different here… it is no longer just a song you are singing… it becomes your story. When the lyrics begin to align with your Godstory… with what you have walked through… with what He has healed… with what He has carried you through… suddenly it is no longer just melody… it is your life… being expressed back to Him. And something about that kind of worship… it touches His heart… and it transforms yours.

There is something so deeply beautiful about choosing this place… this UpperRoom within your heart… not in a way that separates from others, and not in a way that judges what happens around you… but in a way that gently recognizes that what happens within you with Him… is the most real, most intimate, most life-changing place of all.

Because here… you are not trying to create a moment… you are simply with Him. And in this being with Him… worship becomes a beautiful exchange. You give Him your heart… your attention… your love… your presence… and what He gives you in return… is Himself. His peace begins to settle where there was unrest… His lightness lifts what felt heavy… His comfort wraps around what was hurting… His truth gently replaces every lie… and His love fills you in ways nothing external ever could.

And what is poured into you here… does not stay here. It becomes what you carry. It becomes how you love others… how you see them… how you respond… how you bring His heart into the world around you.

What happens in the Holy, sacred place of the UpperRoom of your heart fills you with everything you need… to love others the way He loves you… and even more deeply… to carry His Kingdom of Love from His heart… into yours… and from your heart… into the hearts of others.

This is Heart2Heart worship.

It is not something you visit… it becomes something that lives inside of you… so that how you live… how you love… how you move through your life… flows from what you have experienced with Him… internally… externally… and eternally.

And in this place… you come to know… not just in words, but in your own personal experience with Love Himself that…

You don’t have to wait until you feel whole to come. The Upper Room is where healing happens… where even your tears become prayers He understands completely.

What you receive in the Upper Room… you carry. His peace fills your heart from the inside out, and becomes what you bring into every place and every person you encounter.

As you sit with Love Himself, something begins to change within you. His light becomes your light… and what happens in secret begins to shine through your life.

“Freely you have received; freely give.”

What He pours into you in that sacred and holy exchange… doesn’t stay there. The love you receive becomes the love you carry, and the love you give.

The House of Love is not separate from you… He lives within you. Worship is no longer something you do… it becomes who you are as you live in union with Love Himself.
